This multi-activity getaway invites you to discover Saguenay through experiences that are as varied as they are complementary.
Take the handlebars of an electric snowmobile to ride the snowy trails, meet the sled dogs of Alaskan du Nord and try your hand at ice fishing. Enjoy the winter scenery at the Bec-Scie outdoor centre and learn about the history and unique features of the fjord at the Musée du Fjord.
Between activities, return to the comfort of Hôtel Les Battures and use your free time to explore La Baie or simply relax.
Your 3-day getaway itinerary
Check-in at Hôtel Les Battures
Arrive in La Baie and settle in at Hôtel Les Battures, your home base for the next three days.
Use this first evening to get your bearings, discover the hotel's facilities and prepare for the next day's activities.
Electric snowmobiling and Musée du Fjord
Start your getaway with a guided half-day excursion on an electric snowmobile. After check-in and the introduction session, take the handlebars to discover Saguenay's winter trails in a small group.
The other part of the day is set aside for a self-guided visit of the Musée du Fjord, where the exhibits teach you more about the region and its environment.
Lunch on your own, then return to Hôtel Les Battures for the evening.
Dog sledding and outdoor fun at Bec-Scie
Meet the guides and dogs of Alaskan du Nord for the Chinook ride. Watch the teams being harnessed before setting off on a ride of about 1.5 hours through the forest.
Continue your day at the Bec-Scie outdoor centre, where you can enjoy the winter activities available depending on conditions and the facilities open during your stay.
Lunch on your own and evening at the hotel.
Introduction to ice fishing
Discover a winter tradition deeply rooted in the region: ice fishing.
After an introduction with a guide who walks you through the equipment and basic techniques, spend the rest of the half-day trying your luck and taking in the scenery.
The rest of the day is free before your departure. Lunch at your convenience.

Preparing for your winter getaway in Saguenay
What to bring
Pack clothing suited to winter activities: thermal underwear, warm mid-layers, extra socks, a neck warmer and comfortable clothes for evenings at the hotel.
Extreme-cold clothing is provided during your stay. Also bring your personal items and any documents required for the activities booked.

The program is provided for information purposes. The order of activities and schedules may change depending on the weather, winter conditions and our partners' availability.
Activities are supervised by the teams responsible for each one. No guide accompanies the group for the entire stay.
Your visit to the Musée du Fjord must be planned around its opening hours, particularly its usual Monday closure in the low season.
