* Please note that we pay special attention to the composition of our menus. These are prepared by the guide. Healthy, balanced meals throughout your expedition. Please inform us of any dietary restrictions.
Itinerary
Day 1: Meeting and transport to departure point
After breakfast (not included), we meet for departure. Transfer to the Mistassini River on the road to Lac-Saint-Jean. We’ll do a few kilometers on the river before setting up camp for our first night in the open air. Beforehand, your guide will prepare you for the next few days by giving you a few basic canoeing notions.
Days 2 and 3: Adventure
One of the lake’s main tributaries, it is renowned for its natural beauty and crystal-clear waters. The river flows through a wooded wilderness, with abundant flora and fauna. Fishing enthusiasts will appreciate the presence of various species of fish in the river’s waters, including speckled trout, pike and yellow perch. The banks of the river are also dotted with sandy beaches where it is pleasant to relax.
Day 4: Back in town
End of the descent and return to your adventure with your guide. This is where your river journey ends.
Cancellation and refund policy
To confirm your reservation
We require 50% of the total cost at the time of booking; this deposit is non-refundable. The remaining balance is due on May 15 and is also non-refundable. For bookings made after May 15, 100% of the payment is required at the time of reservation.
If you have to cancel for an external reason, here is our refund policy
If you cancel and we are able to find a suitable replacement, 80% of the total cost will be refunded.
If Saguenay aventures must cancel the trip due to weather conditions, 80% of the amount paid will be refunded with no further compensation.
Anyone arriving late will not be allowed to participate in the activity. No refunds will be issued.
